So our house has always been really cold. Jacob likes to keep the thermostat at 68, which should be warm enough to not keep a coat on in the house. But we live in an old apartment, we had to sign one of those led paint waivers before we moved in. That's how old it is! I don't think that they have changed the windows since they built them. They are single paned and very draft so we figured it was about 50 degrees. So today we decided to do something about it! We bought some shrink wrap and put it around our windows. I think it was the best $10 we ever spent! Our house is really 68 degrees! Its so nice! It was so nice that we decided to give Jacob a hair cut. Don't worry he didn't keep his bangs, even though I thought he should have! It's been a fun filled evening full of adventure.

Christmas is Here!
Merry Christmas!
I finally got my tree up! I'm so excited, now it really feels like Christmas. I am so proud of this tree because I took the ornaments from last year and changed them to these using modge podge, spray glitter, mini marbles, and eye shadow! No you didn't miss read. I said eye shadow! Being a makeup artist comes in handy some times. I hope Jacob likes it. He hasn't seen it yet!
Live Nativity
Mom and Dad acquired a life size Nativity! I thought it was really silly at first but then the grand kids came over! They had a little two much fun. Regan (5yrs) was Joesph, Alyssa (8 yrs) was Mary, Jaxxon (4yrs) and Jessica (6yrs) was baby Jesus. The topper on the cake was Alyssa yelling "COME SEE THE BABY JESUS!" over and over agian!
Way to go Mom & Dad! The best toy you ever got! And it was free!

Casandra's Turkey
While all of us were making our turkeys, Casandra was making hers! I think hers turned out cuter than mine! Dang her! She is always trying to show me up! She is taking pre -orders for next year! Joke! But seriously if you want some let me know. I would like to thank her awesome hair model, Savanah (her daughter). It's not easy to look cute with a turkey on your head.

Garbage Disposal?
As my first matter of business...
I would like to mention that I have a certain favorite shirt. I like to wear it, A LOT. this does not pose much of a problem because a typical day in the life of Jacob includes ten hours or more of work and some school activity smashed inconveniently somewhere in the midst of it.
This allows for a minimal amount of leisure time for me to lounge in my favorite shirt. My favorite shirt sees a total of 2-3 hours of wear at one time. So it can go for weeks without needing to be washed. Yes, I smell fine and food usually makes it to my mouth and not on the shirt.the reason that i bring up my shirt is Tasha unwittingly did it herself.
In all but one cluster of photos posted in the money loves bunny blog I am wearing the shirt. season after season, day after day, it has seen me through the battle of my life struggles and triumphs. I love my shirt.... and my wife.
Recently I have begun school for the fall and I have the privilege of attending school with my little brother. he is one of the most absurdly hilarious people that I have ever been associated with. He seems to put everything in a charming tone.
Everyday we walk up the stairs to the cafeteria at the school so that we can stress about our outrageous schedule, argue about physics and eat a meager meal. but recently we started riding an elevator up the one flight of stairs that we encounter in a day. We figure it could save us nearly 200 joules of energy, if we calculated our physics right (but that's not likely).
Anyway we will have to see how this goes. the semester will come and go but as time travels dementia will set in at some point. if a man live to be a million years old would he really be worth talking too? If I survive this semester we can find out.
